Asha Srinivasan
Indian-American composer Asha Srinivasan’s music fuses her Indian heritage and Western musical training. Her works have been performed by renowned ensembles such as Alarm Will Sound and Da Capo Players and is heard frequently in national and international venues. Honors include the 2011 Thailand International Composition Competition, Flute New Music Consortium, BMI’s Women's Music Commission, and the Flute/Cello Commissioning Circle.
